I had such a fun time helping to plan and host a "high tea" baby shower for my sister-in-law, Jamie!! Jamie and Jeremy are expecting their first child, a girl, in early March. It was wonderful to collaborate on this exciting event with Jamie's sister, Erin, and some of Jamie's close friends. Here are some highlighs from our afternoon of celebrating "Baby Brook" in Nashville!
Some of the guests perusing the cards that we laid out, asking each person to write down her thoughts/advice/anecdotes on Baby Brook's milestones, such as "first tooth," "first bath," "first UGA game," etc.

Some of the yummy food we served (including cupcakes, fruit cup with mint and sugar, Earl Grey tea cookies, jam thumbprint cookies, brownies, cucumber/cream cheese sandwiches, pimento cheese sandwiches, and scones with lemon curd). A diaper cake I made in the colors of Baby Brook's nursery is the centerpiece.
Jamie's friend, Amanda, found some adorable clothes to create two different clotheslines for the shower. Baby Brook is going to be one stylish little girl!
Opening the beautiful cardigan and hat that Sue-B knit... Sitting on Jamie's right is her mom, Rae (or Rae-Rae), and on her left is my mom, Sue (or Sue-B!)
