We had a fun-filled family outing on New Year's Day to Medieval Times at Discover Mills! Max was mesmerized by the knights in shining armor, the king, the princess, and the sword fighting. He also devoured (as did Lance and I) the delicious spread of food that the spectators eat while watching the jousting and other tournament games. We had tomato soup, garlic bread, rotisserie chicken, spare rib, roasted potatoes, and apple crisp. A fantastic time was had by all, and Max is already asking when we can go back again...this time he wants to root for the blue knight!
On the way there, Max got a lesson on how to play Angry Birds on the Ipad. Even their finger-pointing styles are identical...scary!!

This time, we sat in the Black and White knight's section. We all had to wear Black and White crowns to show our support--Max wasn't too keen on his... I think he was a little bitter that we couldn't cheer on the blue knight.
